Please see this link for an update around "FA launch Survive, Revive and Thrive campaign which highlights, again, the importance of Sport and our own return to the Camrose" btfc.co.uk/updates/fa-campaign-ties-with-camrose/
Well it seems the club is run on the local bus system, where you wait weeks for it to arrive, only to receive two at the same time. Now I am not knocking what has been stated, a football committee that appears to have been running for weeks and we now know what the objectives and who is on the committee is a good start in an important area of any club. The other update around the Save the Camrose campaign ties in with FA ideology around the future of football clubs. However, this statement / update without the FA announcement would lack any gusto. It states that we will be contacting all the councilors in the borough for their responses. Surely following the successful online meeting back in February, this should have been a priority. Getting them to commit it not just verbally but as part of their election pledges would not only have got them to commit to their statement, but could have been delivered through thousands of doors in the borough. This may now be too late and a missed chance to get the message across the borough. It also misses the people involved in this committee as well ?
