What a great shame, anyone from the club want to explain ‘WHY’ the silent Chairman perhaps!
This is a GREAT LOSS to the club, one hell of a good guy with a wealth of experience that no one on the board could match in what he does. Has made a fantastic contribution during the plight of the club in the last few years. I cannot emphasis on how much of a loss he will be, it will be massive.
Unfortunately some of you at board level are not listening. This is a very testing time Kevin White, The members and those outside of the membership YOU choose to ignore are looking in.
History is now watching you Kevin White on how your going to steer the Club Back to The Camrose, if that really is your own personal aim!
RIP CAMROSE - SADLY AND UNCEREMONIOUSLY TAKEN AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE OF BASINGSTOKE . NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN
Prejudice is a great TIME SAVER. You can form opinions without having to get to the FACTS.
This is definitely a big blow. I do not know the reasons for him standing down but it strikes me that the board and the club will be much poorer without him. Somebody with his background, experience and connection to the club cannot be easily replaced.
Still, maybe we will get an email update talking about broken toenails and ignoring updating the membership about Basron's appeal. It's all foreplay and no penetration.
The reason is quite obvious, Kevin White is running this club as if it is his. He also is not behind the save OUR Camrose, and feels any business plan should include options to Camrose. Not what the community want to hear. The council are receptive to buying Camrose as Councillor Rhatigan has stated. He is waiting for an overdue and comprehensive business plan . Mr White is too busy writing personal messages on every car sticker bought. Steve Williams is a huge loss. He has more experience than our chairman will ever get.
One has to question what is happening at the club under a new extended board. Power gone to people's heads. Did he step down, or was he pushed as according to a week ago in the Gazette, he was Chairman of the Save the Camrose committee? As per another thread that never got answered Jack? Who is or was now on the Save the Camrose committee?

It is sad to see Mr Williams resign from the board. What is true is the lack of push currently with the Save the Camrose campaign. Despite a well respected Colin Stoker taking on the role, some would question what Kevin White is actually doing on or for this battle to get back to the Camrose?
As your Chairman, figurehead, leader, surely he should be the face of the campaign! I just hope he is doing more than what it seems on face value of what is being done.
