Fascinating to see these highlighted on Twitter. As an old lag watching since 1997, crowd numbers were never as high as the current ones. Apart from one off cup ties, I can just about remember the odd 1000 plus, but consistently much closer to 400-500. There is clearly a market locally for support for the Club, and it would be great to see this capitalised on with a genuine promotion run. Last play off home crowd versus Whitehawk was something like 1700 (and they didn`t bring many!!).
On the field, I haven`t commented for a while, but it looks like someone has got a hold of the defence and given it the organisation it desperately needed. Grinding out those ugly 1-0s is vital for the run in. Just need to crack the secret of winning at Winklebury now!
