As usual a few of us will be travelling up by train to the Chertsey Town playoff game on Wednesday. We are looking to get the 3.54pm train via Weybridge to Chertsey arriving 5.10pm. We will then likely go to one of the pubs for food and drink Trains home are 9.59pm, 10.29pm & a late 11.29pm train option home. Current prices (note current) are Adults £13 Kids £3.20
There are other train options up later, but will start a list for those who wish to travel with us.
I will travel up separately after work, and recommend buying tickets from Bramley to Chertsey (£11.15 with railcard) and starting "short" at Basingstoke.

Er... subject to £13 minimum fare, in the case of Network Railcards.

So how are you paying £11.15 That's a group ticket price.

The fare I found- with Groupsave discount- is www.brfares.com/!fares?orig=BMY&dest=CHY&rlc=GS3. This is perfectly valid to use from Basingstoke.
The ticket from Basingstoke itself is £11.85.
Splitting at Brookwood would be even cheaper still at £10.50, but then the train would have to stop there- in both directions.
The £13 I mentioned is only applicable to passengers travelling on their own with Network Railcards.
So you are not paying £11.85 as you are travelling on your own. As I stated it is £13 with network railcard or if travelling in a group £11.15 for Adults.
