In a game with a disappointing crowd, the team from Berkshire took the lead through Ashford Town's striker, before a neat finish by Bradley Walsh levelled the scoring. However, the team from Berkshire then re-took the lead and led 2-1 at halftime. The second-half saw a number of changes by both sides and it was ex-Stoke striker Conor Lynch who added a third for the visitors. Strudley made some good saves to keep us at the 3-1 final score.
Ha ! Ha ! a very true statement. The game was in parts pretty one sided i thought, as our defence was opened on many occasions and Smarty played superb at the back in the first half. I understand that Michael Atkinson is injured from the other week, but where is our star signing James Clarke? All quiet on the signing front again.
