Having been involved in jobs that require recruiting volunteers l always ask myself why are they involved or what will they gain from it (personally or professionaly). I haven't been able to meet everyone on the board but look forward to doing so. Those that l have including Kevin and Jack are always proactively doing things on match days and happy to debate with. If l'm honest l do find it interesting why there is no interaction on this forum from the Chairman but feel based on what has been discussed we should have a zoom meeting to try and stop things becoming any more negative.
Fair play Jack Great reply, did make me chuckle 😁with that link Got to give the lad a bit of credit for that Steve
Perhaps you could explain a bit more mickys what you mean so that I get an opportunity to reply fully, credit for what exactly!
As for Jack’s question, You must know I was not at the board meeting where the Chair and vice chair was chosen, that was open to board members only, so although Kevin took the votes I do not know how who voted for who!
I’m sorry if it does not sit well with anyone but I am not sitting here like people did under Razzak saying and thinking everything is rosy and it will all be ok, when I know it’s not. IMO the wrong person is chairing this football club and there is plenty of evidence IMO to back that up! From day 1 you either want the Camrose back or you don’t. There is no option for another ground so the Business plan has to be for The Camrose and The Camrose only!

To be honest Steve I can’t see what you don’t get in my response to “fair play Jack”, firstly he didn’t respond to you asking him to take sides then he posted a link to something where you like to think you’re a hundred per cent correct on every post and in his case yourself and lawyers were made to look fools
I was the first person to reply to this thread which at the time was a something that concerned me now regrettably IMO it’s turned into a vendetta and witch-hunt against certain individuals I’m not on the board so I won’t be cyber bullied or press ganged into taking sides
As for the Camrose I’ve probably given it more of my time and money then any other person in this club, but I’ll still support it wherever we play

The issue you are pertaining to is this. The two lawyers in Basingstoke who looked into and searched the Land registry website site as they would for anything like this in a property issue for a Covenant. That is normal procedure. They saw a covenant was mentioned in words on the documents found. The documents were then bought from the land registry and I have those copies even today and I know others have the same ones. However, even though the covenant was mentioned on the paperwork it was not attached to the legal documents as it should be. No one at the Land Registry knew why! The next thing needed was for anyone who had a copy to come forward with it so that it could be read to see exactly what the covenant said because Covenants can have a number of things on them. Mickys, at this point would you not think that the Football club should have had a copy for such purposes! Well they didn’t, but I bet Razzak has or his Solicitors have, do you think they would be happy to share them with us!
Despite requests no one came forward at all. With that knowledge I posted on 19 July 2017 as you can see via that link. I also stood up at The Camrose at a meeting and explained all this even stressing that unless it could be found and read there was no chance which is true.
Some 2 years 7 months later having appealed for someone with a copy of the Covenant to come forward and nothing being reported in that time, the Gazette suddenly hit us with the headlines ‘We’ve only gone and found it’.
Someone with time on their hands had travelled down to the Land Registry Offices in Weymouth and spent a whole working day searching through their vaults and fantastically found the dam thing. Why the hell the attachment was not with the documents downloaded is still a mystery because that should not have happened. Now unless paid why would 2 lawyers travel down to Weymouth in the hope of finding these, they have their own work to get through and responsibilities to the clients they are working for whilst earning a living for their own families. They had checked what normally is a reliable service.
The great thing with at last finding the Covenant was that it was at last out there for all to see. I think everyone was delighted that it had been found, I think most people thought it would never be found. I bet Razzak and co were the only ones unhappy that it was found. This at least gave new hope that it was there despite Razzak and Co still having the upper hand. This also put the Council in an awkward position and probably has had a hand in where we are today and a CVA being put on the ground. Despite saying at the time nothing could be done in actual fact I am still right, Razzak/Basron hold all the cards but the Council and the support kicked up has definitely helped which is great.
So there you go and the fools are not the ones named Steve. Oh and I am not asking you or anyone to take sides, you are all big enough and old enough to make your own minds up, I’m posting what I know.
To confirm again, all of everything I say here are my own opinions and not those of the club. Views of the club will go out via the official channels. This is a supporters forum and is not in any way affiliated with the club as far as I’m aware and is not a club website and I am exactly a supporter and therefore 100% entitled to speak as one, the same way I would on Facebook or any other public forum. I will always have my own opinions and am usually more than happy to share them with those who ask me directly, be it at a match or via my contact details. If anyone does have a question for me, I’d expect them to come directly to me or via the official club channels like you would assume people would do. Hope this clears things up for you and look forward to seeing you next season 👍 Up the ‘Stoke
Sorry Jack, but I have to agree with Neil, you now sit on the board and are in a responsible position at the club. Of course your history as a fan in well known, but when you join the board, your comments are taken as coming from the club board. Your initial responses disagreeing with Steve's comments, were used on knowledge you received being a board member. You can state as many times on here these are personal comments, but many on here will take them as board statements.
You stay off the forum for 24 hours and it goes into warp mode, but can I ask Jack the following questions, that some need confirming or answering? It states on one of the threads that you are the club spokesperson, is this true and if so why has the club not communicated this anywhere. Fans moan about a lack of communication, so this must improve and you would think this would be an important announcement. If this is the case, then despite your obvious history at the club, it is fundamentally wrong to believe that you can still make so many personal opinions, when you are basically the communicator between the board and the fanbase and even the town. Sorry are you trying to tell us that you have not spoken to members of the board and the chairman about all this. But please do continue to speak to those on here, because the chairman does not want to talk to anyone, but do it as the spokesperson. Finally various comments have been asking who is actually on the Save the Camrose committee? Why cannot this be communicated out, or is there some issue around this?
The People's Front of Judea are at war with the Judean People's Front again. All we need now is for the Popular Front of Judea to get involved.
The Popular Front of Judea are ready and waiting for any response from the club. Who is on the Save the Camrose committee? Do we have a club spokesperson now?
With Steve Williams standing down it was vital that another person who holds the Camrose in high esteem and knows what it really means to a lot of people in this town the job. So it’s great to see Colin Stoker made Chair of Save The Camrose.

Been a good Thursday with the news that the council have upheld the decision on placing a ACV on the ground. It was also nice to read the Gazette spread with no mention of looking at alternative sites. Hopefully any talk of looking elsewhere from within the club will evaporate now completely and solely concentrate on a good business plan for the Camrose.
