Real shame to end the season on a bad note when we should have gone into next term with a trophy, albeit a very minor one, and a bit of a boost and optimism.
Embarrassing result and completely unacceptable to lose that. Should have stuck the strongest XI out and given it a proper go.
Alresford were up for it and deserved to win by more than 1-0, on that showing 3 or 4 of their players would potentially improve our squad (thinking right winger, central defenders and #10).
On the other hand only our academy players seemed remotely interested so maybe we made them look better than they really are. Terrible pitch, dreadful performance
Not a single shot on target says it all, really disappointing end to the season.
Having listened to Dan Brownlie's post match interview, and having seen what was a fairly ordinary performance, it was clear some of the players maybe were already thinking of their summer holidays.
Not the best finish to the season that could have been a game-changer for the Community Club..
