The Royals can confirm that they will again play a series of Barclays Under 21 Premier League matches at Basingstoke Town’s Camrose Ground in 2014/15. In the upcoming season, each team is required to play at least three of their home matches at their nominated home stadium, and Reading are pleased to confirm that they will be doing so again at the home of the Dragons.
Speaking of the arrangement Basingstoke Town FC Director Lee Atkins said “We are delighted to again be able to host Reading Football Club. We have established a good working relationship with Reading, this allows us to take that relationship another step further.
“Although the league is given an under 21 title clubs are actually allowed to play up to three over-age players and an over-age goalkeeper so I’m sure that, just like last season, we’ll be seeing a number of Premier League players as well as plenty of stars of the future coming to play at Basingstoke.”
League fixtures for the U21 Premier League season will be released in due course.
All U21s matches at the Camrose are priced as follows; Adults £3, OAP’s and Under 16′s £2, Royals and Basingstoke season ticket holders £2.
