Yes they progressed on penalties. In front of a crowd of over 200 people, Hungerford took a first-half lead when a long range shot was misjudged by our keeper and it found the corner of the net. Second-half was end-to-end committed football, with both teams having chances that just failed to find the net. A ridiculous long delay mid-way through the second-half finally saw the referee show a second-yellow card to Hungerford's No.7 to reduce them to ten men. Then deep into added-time, a shot from outside the box, took a deflection past the keeper into the net (Walton 2nd's goal). A minute later the referee blew the full-time whistle and the game went to penalties.
Stoke took a 2-1 lead after 2 penalties, but two Hungerford saves mean't that Hungerford led 3-2 with one penalty remaining. The Stoke keeper saved and we levelled it up. Hungerford's keeper took the 6th penalty and blasted it over the bar. Stoke's keeper stepped up and cooly slotted it in the roof of the net and Stoke won 4-3 and progress into the next round. Unfortunately, the goal-winning penalty celebrations turned unsavoury and unnecessary for youth football.
Anyway a highly entertaining match saw Stoke progress so well done to Aaron and the players.

Ok I can confirm we lost 4-0 to Thame. Have to admit it was not the best of games, and Thame were the better side, with a referee who was very poor, or one-sided, in some fans view.
