Stoke fell behind to an early controversial goal, but a second-half diving header by Billy Upton levelled the score. Despite coming close, we have to settle for point.
First half was a non event, can`t recall a save needed by their keeper. Could have gone in 2 or 3 down. Dan`s half time rocket produced energy and Billy`s equaliser (where would we be without him) should have driven us on to three points, especially after their red card. Chances scorned, and could have lost (to ten men) without a terrific double save from Struds late on.
Next two games look key to me. No Mike, at a guess, hopefully Dunny can return. My next game will be Totton, from then, a hard run of games. Really is time to dig deep and find some results.
The wind affected our game more than it did Beaconsfield's. Our point is down to Strudley, fantastic reaction stop in the first half and the double save near the end. We missed Reid (who lasted 60 minutes) and Atkinson after they went off; the latter's injury looks like a hamstring. Clark was no replacement and Chengun showed that he has some way to go to become a regular. Not sure what was controversial about their goal. Defending for it was non-existent and this is our consistent problem if you look at the goals against column in the table.

Firstly, their goal was offside in my view, plus according to other the ball ran out of play before he retrieved it to attack down the wing. No Atkinson, No Dunn according to his post. We move on with ever more challenges!
Could have been out of this game by half time, then should have won it in second half, been a very frustrating week with 2 points from 9 in ,on paper, winnable games. We now face Atkinson being out for a few games (if hamstring as appeared), Hodges away in Oz, plus doubts over several others, would be nice to have just one game when we don't suffer another injury!
Harrow and Didcot now key games, even with a depleted squad and an entire midfield injured, or our slide down the table might start to become very worrying.
