Not there, but will be at Totton with some trepidation. Sounds like a grim afternoon. This wasn`t just any defeat, this was a loss to a side we have already beaten, who until today had won once only all season. Three new players, yet our average goals conceded of 2.4 goals per game took a hit as Didcot managed four.
Maybe the squad can gell and find some new impetus against the top sides. Totton are certainly one, and we did beat them at home... oh, wait - we struggle doing doubles! Starting to run out of obviously winnable games.
Could be a long second half of the season at this rate.
Started well, but once they got their penalty it was a complete mess for rest of the half. Got back to 2-2 and for 10-15 minutes looked like we might win this but the substitution left our midfield open and they won easily in the end (although quite what Scott was thinking for third goal I don't know). Could accept this as a one off but that's 9 points out of last 42 on offer and the alarm bells are ringing full volume. Looking for a positive Massimo looked good, that's all.
