Great game and massively important win. First time I've seen our new keeper and I was very impressed. Also our defence (apart from a couple of wobbles) looked a lot more solid than previously. Liam Ferdinand, Danny Rowe and Bradley Wilson combined well and overall looks like we've (hopefully) turned a corner. Just looked at the table and, hypothetically, if the teams below us won all their games in hand, our current 12th place would drop to 19th - so it's crucial to keep winning. But after today, I'm much more optimistic.
Very entertaining game, with a great result. Thought Tiverton shaded the first half, we definitely won the second, and took the points, just about deservedly.
New keeper looks commanding, might be disappointed with the first goal conceded though. Front three combined well latterly, although Brad and Liam were caught offside way too often. Dan will no doubt be having a quiet word in Brad`s ear - I make that three yellows at least for petulant responses to decisions going against him. Talented lad, but he lets himself down from time to time. Dunny and Acko worked tirelessly, and Billy Upton again a standout. Hope we can keep this lad next season - he has been outstanding consistently.
Agree that we have to keep winning - still too close to the bottom if a few sides win a few games in hand. But today, with most of the squad back, we began to look like a decent midtable side at this level.
