Fleet Town 1 (0) Basingstoke Town (3) 4 First half goals from Chris Flood , Julian Owusu and Sam Argent set Town on the way to a comfortable win in their final away friendly. Town dominated from the start and it was no surprise when Dunn slipped a pass through for Flood to round the keeper and slot home. Owusu added a second shortly afterwards when a ball through saw the home keeper rush out and Owusa cooly rounded him to fire home. Argent added a third just before the break after excellent work by the impressive Flood.
HT – Fleet Town 0-3 Basingstoke Town Fleet Town started the second half with more purpose and Carter forced a save from Moore. Argent nearly added his second with a cheeky back heel from a Flood pass but Pryce in the home goal made a smart save. Midway through the half Josh Drew got on the scoresheet when he fired home a cross from Flood. White fired a 25 yard effort just wide for the home side as they looked for a consolation and with four minutes to go Craig Stanley scored from 30 yards to give Fleet their only goal.
Jordan Westbrook (Basingstoke Town FC Academy GK) played for Fleet Town in the second half and did well.
